SVG Design Svg Cut Off In Safari Potoshop. One of the pages shows two different svg images, and one of them is a pretty complex image. There are known issues with svg rendering in safari, and i have tried all the fixes out there i have found to the best of my ability (here, here, here, and here), but i can't manage to make the containers fit the svgs in safari. Href is a new feature of the upcoming svg 2 specification. I know it's an old post but i had been pulling my hair off for a while on this and sergio's fix did. I have several pages on my site that show svg images on any browser without a problem. I'm using angular 1.5.8, bodymovin 4.6.4, safari 9.1.2 / firefox 51 both browsers won't display the generated svg, i've attached my json (as txt though, github requires.) loadanimation con. Im using this svg tag in my html file. In my chrome web browser, the complex image shows up without a problem, but when i try to view that page in safari. Xlink:href is the svg 1.1 version. It works perfectly in chrome, but in safari the icon doesn't appear. 😊thanks vikingosx and quicktimekirk for your help! Safari is oddly computing the height of the svg incorrectly. If you want to see the difference first hand, with everything else stripped away, here's a codepen first of all thanks a lot ben and sergio for your help!! For my case, the svg text element is there on all browsers, in internet explorer all 3 texts are visible, in firefox and chrome any of the svg text elements are cut off if they are more than 1/4 to the right of the screen. Safari doesn't support href yet, you need to use xlink:href instead.
